Here for sale we have a Fender Jaguar Bass in Hot Rod Red finish. Made in Japan in 2008, this bass features a bolt-on construction Alder body, Gloss finished Maple neck and topped with a 20 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard with aged pearloid block inlays. The hardware featured on this bass consists of a vintage-style top-loading bridge and a set of Vintage Style tuning machines. A pair of Fender Jaguar single-coils pickups, these are wired to standard Jaguar controls.
The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘C’ profile allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning, whilst the Gloss finish is fantastic for smooth, quick transitions up and down the neck. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers, whilst the 7.25” radius and Medium Jumbo frets allow for ease of different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The body design and contoured body design allows the player to have unobstructed access to the entire register, whilst also making longer durations of playing a comfortable experience.
The Fender Jaguar pickups deliver classic original-era tone and power, with smooth rounded lows, clear and open mid range and a sweet treble response that captures the attack and aggression of your playing. The control layout offers comprehensive control of your sound, the bass/treble boost rollers and an on/off switch located on the top control panel activates active/passive controls. When the active is engaged it provides a dynamic and more touch sensitive response to the player's touch. The lower control panel holds on/off switches for each of the pickups, and a switch to toggle between parallel and series wiring of the pickups, offering a wide selection of tonal options for the player to explore. Finally, the master control panel holds the master volume and master tone controls offering simplicity, ensuring that you can stay focused on your playing whilst still offering comprehensive control of your tone.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. A chip is present on the front face near the truss rod cavity, this breaks through the finish. Light scratching is present to the front and rear face, only visible under direct light from certain angles. A more noticeable scratch is present to the bottom of the rear face. Light scuffing and denting is present to the top side edge.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to the rear of the neck, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable down the truss rod cavity cover. This can not be felt under the finger in the playing position.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching and denting is present to the front face, rear face and lower bout side edge, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the lower bout rear face. A dent which has broken the finish is present to the lower bout side edge, treble side.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
This guitar demonstrates mild fret noise which is not apparent when amplified. This noise does not affect sustain of notes, nor does it affect bending the notes. The new owner may choose to raise the action to alleviate this.

Truss Rod: Fully functional & adjustable. No truss rod tool included (hex 3/16")
Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear. The battery compartment displays discolouration, this does not affect its functionality and is only aesthetic.
