Here for sale we have a Epiphone Allen Woody Rumblekat Bass in Wine Red finish. Built in Korea this bass features a set-neck construction Chambered Mahogany body, Gloss finished Mahogany neck topped with a 20 Medium Jumbo fret Laurel fingerboard. The hardware featured on this bass consists of a 3-Point Adjustable bridge with a set of Epiphone Premium tuning machines. A pair of Epiphone NYT mini humbuckers pickups are featured, these are wired to a bridge volume, neck volume and a master tone control.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the SlimTaper ‘C’ profile allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning, whilst the Gloss finish is fantastic for smooth, quick transitions up and down the neck. The Laurel fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers, whilst the 12” radius and Medium jumbo frets allow for ease of different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The single cutaway body design allows the player to have unobstructed access to the entire register, whilst also making longer durations of playing a comfortable experience.
The Epiphone NYT mini humbuckers deliver a thick and powerful tone, with smooth rounded lows, clear and open mid range and a sweet treble response that captures the attack and aggression of your playing. The pots feel nicely responsive, allowing you to dial in your perfect tone with ease, whilst the simplicity of the controls ensure that you can stay focussed on your playing whilst still offering comprehensive control of your tone.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, the top edge demonstrates light scuffing to the rear. Light scratching is apparent to the front face visible under direct lighting.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard.
Body: Overall very good condition, moderate scratching is apparent to the body below the bridge. All aspects demonstrate light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
