Here for sale we have a Yamaha RGXA2 Electric Guitar in Gloss Black finish. Made in Indonesia in 2007, this guitar consists of a Agathis/Falcata (A.I.R. Body), a Maple neck and a 22 Medium fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include an A.I.R. Mounting System bridge and a set of sealed Cylindrical button tuning machines. The pickups featured consist of a pair of Yamaha Alnico V humbuckers which are wired to a 3-Position Rotary pickup selector with LED pickup indicator lights and a master volume control.
The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, and with a profile resembling a ‘C’ feeling nicely slender and articulate. A flattened area to the centre of the neck promotes ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers and helps to facilitate fast, technical playing. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers whilst the 13.77” radius and Medium frets assist with string bending and vibrato techniques, feeling rock solid under the fingers and providing a smooth and reliable playing surface. The unique body design consists of a lightweight core (Falcata) sandwiched between pieces of Agathis on the top and back of the body, offering a comfortable 5lb weight, making long durations of playing a breeze. The body contours offer a guitar that is comfortable in both sitting and standing positions.
The pair of Yamaha Alnico V humbuckers provide tones that are thick and full. The neck position offers boosted mids, big lows and subtle high ends, and is perfect for rock and metal lead tones. The bridge position provides a high output that will help your rhythm tones slice through even the densest of mixes, whilst also cleaning up to provide crystalline, bell-like clean tones. The independent volume control keeps things feeling nice and straightforward, whilst the LED 3-position rotary switch offers clear visibility even on the darkest of stages. A unique design that shows that Yamaha is constantly thinking of ways to improve the guitar as we know it.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
