Here for sale we have a Yamaha Pacifica 311S Electric Guitar in Natural Gloss finish. Made in Taiwan in 1993, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Chrome hardware, Die-Cast tuners, and a string-thru 6-saddle bridge. The pickups installed are a Yamaha humbucker in the neck, and a Yamaha Hot Rail in the bridge position. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a 3-way pickup selector. 
 
The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘C’ profile allowing for easy fretting in any register and providing ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 13.75” radius makes bending and vibrato techniques a breeze, whilst offering a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for quick lead lines. The Medium Jumbo frets enhance vibrato techniques at speed whilst the body contours offer complete comfort in both seated and standing playing positions.
 
The pair of Yamaha humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied tones, perhaps more akin to a Les Paul than the Telecaster this guitar is styled after. The neck position produces an open and detailed sound with plenty of warmth and power for pushing your lead lines and solos to the front of the mix. The Hot Rail Humbucker in the bridge is hot, with loads of midrange harmonics and a crunchy tone that is well suited to bluesy rock riffing. Clearly the jazzy tones are easily achievable too, with a nice dark jazzy tone in the neck with the tone rolled down. A highly versatile and quite rare instrument.
