Here for sale we have a Yamaha LJ16 A.R.E Electro Acoustic Guitar in Brown Sunburst Gloss finish. Made in China in 2017, this all-solid wood constructed guitar consists of a solid Engelmann Spruce A.R.E top, solid Rosewood back and sides, a 5ply Mahogany and Rosewood neck, and a 20-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include Die-cast gold tuners and an SRT Zero Impact Pickup system.
The 5ply Mahogany & Rosewood neck sits very comfortably in the hand, with a profile that could be described as a ‘C’, feeling slim in the hand and offering ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The Ebony fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 15.75” radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface making both chordal and fingerpicking styles of playing a breeze. The LJ body design fills the arms nicely, and provides a lively and responsive playing experience with a sound that can really be felt.
The mixture of Solid Engelmann Spruce and Rosewood provides rich, warm, and responsive sounds, this with the non-scalloped bracing design retains the L series’ characteristic bright tone while enhancing low-end tone. This helps to balance the highs, mids, and lows of the guitar's sound, and accommodates a wide range of playing styles and techniques. The SRT Zero Impact Pickup provides a natural and balanced amplified sound, faithfully reproducing the guitar's acoustic tone with the added simplicity of no controls, this guitar provides a great plug in and play singer/songwriter guitar.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates a moderate indentation beside the B string tuning post, piercing the finish slightly. The top edges demonstrate consistent light indentation, piercing the finish in places. All aspects demonstrate light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. Discolouration can be seen to the bass side of the nut.
Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates some light scratching and indentation in the early register which is difficult to discern beneath the thumb and does not pierce the finish. This continues to a much lesser degree throughout the neck visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. The satin finish to the rear of the neck has polished to a gloss.
Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates light indentation across the lower bout that pierce the finish slightly, visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. Very light scratching is apparent to either side of the soundhole and fingerboard extension, consistent with the use of a plectrum. The treble side shoulder demonstrates a moderate indentation. A small chip to the finish is apparent to the front treble side edge. The rear face demonstrates light scratching across the lower bout, visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use with some indentation in the early register not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
