Built in China, this guitar features a construction comprising a Solid Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, Nato neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard with matching bridge. A Urea saddle and nut are fitted, along with Chrome sealed tuning machines. A System 70/SRT Piezo Pickup is fitted in the guitar along with Yamaha's new Trans Acoustic system with controls for master volume, reverb room/hall and a chorus control.
 
The Mahogany neck sits very comfortably in the hand, with a profile that could be described as a ‘C’, feeling slim in the hand and offering ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 15.75” radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface making both chordal and fingerpicking styles of playing a breeze.
