Here for sale we have a Yamaha BB415 Electric Bass in Gloss Black finish. Made in Taiwan in 2005, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a 5-saddle Chrome bridge, Nickel Sliver hardware, Chrome open gear tuners, and a PJ configuration of pickups. The pickups used are a Split Coil Alnico V in the neck, and a Single Blade Ceramic in the bridge, these are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector.
The Maple neck plays very well, with a profile which might be described as a moderately-sized 'C' shape which offers comfortable playability and easy reach in all registers. The satin finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 34" scale, whilst the generous double cutaways enhance access to the upper frets. The Rosewood for the fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 10" radius is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques.
Amplified, the tone of the BB415 is deep and rich, and will fill out the low end of any mix with ease. In addition to a thick and powerful bass response, the BB415 delivers a punchy mid range and sparkling top end which captures the attack of your playing and helps to provide definition. The pair of Yamaha single-coil pickups offer plenty of versatility, with a warmer sound from the split-coil in the middle and brighter tone in the bridge position. The controls are kept nice and simple, ensuring that you can focus on your playing.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. Light indentations are apparent to the rear face of the very tip.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light indentations that cannot be felt in playing position. The fingerboard demonstrates light indentations, most notably to the treble side of the 7th fret. These cannot be felt beneath the strings and in no way affect feel or playability.
Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light to mild scratching and indentations. Most notably a concentrated area of scratching and indentation at the rear face. An indentation is apparent to the bass side of the lower bout that has removed the finish to reveal the wood beneath.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is very light denting in the early register and considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Mild tarnishing is apparent to the bridge, tuners and pickup surrounds.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2mm - Bass 2.5mm
