Here for sale we have a Yamaha A4K Electro Acoustic Guitar in High Gloss Natural finish. Made in Taiwan, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Koa top,Koa body, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include closed back Gold tuners, an Ebony bridge, dot inlays, and a Yamaha SRT2 System Preamp and Pickup System with controls for the volume, bass, treble and feedback reduction.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a profile which could be described as a soft 'V' filling the hand comfortably without being at all cumbersome. This promotes ergonomic thumb positioning and easy reach across the register, perfect for a wide range of playing styles and techniques. The Gloss finish to the rear of the neck assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale length, whilst the Ebony fingerboard adds a touch of luxury to the already opulent playing experience.
The acoustic voice of the Yamaha A4K is balanced and rich, providing great projection and good volume due its solid construction. The Koa back and sides enhance the character of the tone, producing a smooth mid range and responsive and strong bass that is complemented well with the brightness of the Koa top. Furthermore the Koa top projects beautifully, delivering ample volume and dynamic range whilst retaining clarity throughout. The Yamaha STR2 Preamp and Undersaddle Pickup faithfully convey the acoustic voice of the instrument while offering comprehensive control of the tone, making this guitar a perfect partner for a song/songwriter.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. The front face treble side corner displays a minor indentation which has not pierced the finish. The rear face top edge demonstrates some scuffing that does not reveal the wood beneath. The front face displays faint scratching only visible under direct lighting, as is common on gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. The fretboard displays some lateral scratches that cannot be felt beneath the string and do not affect playability.
Body: Overall excellent condition. A small finish imperfection present from manufacturing is apparent to the binding on the treble side of the neck heel.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of previous use.
Structural: No issues or concerns to note.
