Here for sale we have a Yamaha A1R TBL LTD Electro Acoustic Guitar in Gloss Black finish. Made in China, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Sitka Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include closed back Chrome tuners, a Rosewood bridge, dot inlays, and a Yamaha SRT System Preamp and Pickup System with controls for the volume, bass, treble, middle and AMF.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a profile which could be described as a’C’ filling the hand comfortably without being at all cumbersome. This promotes ergonomic thumb positioning and easy reach across the register, perfect for a wide range of playing styles and techniques. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale length, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard adds a touch of luxury to the already opulent playing experience.
The acoustic voice of the Yamaha A1R TBL LTD is balanced and rich, providing great projection and good volume due its solid construction. The Rosewood back and sides enhance the character of the tone, producing a smooth mid range and responsive and strong bass that is complemented well with the brightness of the Sitka top. Furthermore the Sitka Spruce top projects beautifully, delivering ample volume and dynamic range whilst retaining clarity throughout. The Yamaha STR Preamp and Pickup faithfully convey the acoustic voice of the instrument while offering comprehensive control of the tone, making this guitar a perfect partner for a song/songwriter.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates some light scratching, most notably to the edge between the A and D string winding posts.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall very good condition. The top and back demonstrate light to mild scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes; most notably to the bass side shoulder edges. Finish imperfections are present to the treble side of the top's lower bout, resulting in two small raised areas that can be seen under direct light and felt beneath the finger on inspection, they in no way effect the guitars feel or performance. The side demonstrate light to moderate scratching, most notably to the bass side shoulder, near the battery pack.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
