Here for sale we have a Xotic XSC-1 electric guitar in Light Aged Fiesta Red finish. Xotic Guitars was founded in 1996 in a small garage in Southern California's San Fernando Valley by Hiro Miura. Initially operating as a one-man shop, the company began by producing high-quality boutique bass guitars and preamps before expanding into electric guitars and effects pedals.
 
Made in the USA in 2019, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Alder body, Roasted Flamed Maple neck and a 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with Nickel/Chrome hardware including a Gotoh Vintage Style 6-Point tremolo bridge with Bent Saddles & a set of Gotoh Vintage Style Locking tuning machines. The pickups installed in this stunningly crafted guitar consist of a trio of Raw Vintage RV-60 Single-Coils, these are wired in a traditional 5-way selector, master volume, neck/middle tone and bridge tone layout.
 
The Roasted Flamed Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Modern ‘C’ profile offering a supremely comfortable and practical playing experience in all registers. The profile is moderate- not too chunky like some vintage necks but also not so slim as to be too lead-focussed. It's certainly a profile that will please the majority of players. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 9.5” radius and Medium Jumbo Jescar frets assist with string bends and vibrato techniques, delivering a tailored ‘modern/vintage’ playing experience in any position, whilst offering a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for quick lead lines. The double cutaway body design allows for great access to the instruments highest frets, allowing the player to make the most of the entire register.
 
The trio of Raw Vintage RV-60 Single-Coils hand-wound single-coil pickups installed in this guitar deliver incredibly clean, crisp and precise ‘Strat’ tones, just as you would expect from a guitar of this prestige. The neck is warm and round, with plenty of power to push your lead and solo tones to the front of the mix. The middle position is bright and spanky, perfect for those funky rhythm sounds. The bridge pickup is hotter, and provides a searing yet articulate tone that is well suited to rock riffs and rhythm parts. This guitar ensures that Xotic California can stand up against the main brands and come out triumphant.
