Here for sale we have a Washburn J3-TS Cutaway Archtop Electric Guitar in Tobacco Sunburst finish. Built in 2013 this guitar features a fully hollow Laminated Maple body, a 20 fret Maple neck, and a Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Rosewood bridge, a Florentine cutaway, Grover machine heads, along with a pair of humbuckers, wired to dual volume & tone controls and a 3-way toggle switch.
The Maple neck plays well, with a very slightly flattened ‘C’ shape profile for excellent thumb positioning. The gloss finish feels very smooth and gratifying to touch under the thumb. The Rosewood fretboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface. The Florentine cutaway gives great access to the upper register and the fully hollow construction makes for a very responsive and dynamic guitar to play.
The Humbucking pickups in this guitar offer a full, thick tone, plenty of warmth and roundness is present in the neck position. The middle position sounds punchy, with driving mids along with crisp and clear highs making for a nice blend of the two pickups. The bridge position provides open sustain and broad harmonic clarity, making chords sound crystalline and clear. The wiring gives plenty of versatility without any complicated switching.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The headstock demonstrates light scuff markings to the bass side top face and rear edge. There is a small amount of sticker residue that could not be removed via cleaning on the rear of the headstock where it meets the neck. The front face of the headstock displays light scratching which is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall very good condition. Several spots of glue residue are present on the front face of the body, most notably on the lower bout near the tone controls and to the rear of the scratchplate. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching throughout, visible only under direct lighting at certain angles as is common with high gloss finish.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall excellent condition. Any marks to the hardware are difficult to discern.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
