Here for sale we have a Vox VSS-1-FRD Starstream Type 1 Modelling Electric Guitar in Red/Black finish. This guitar is Vox's answer to having an onboard effects and modelling system attached to your guitar to eliminate the need for a pedalboard. Made in Indonesia, this guitar consists of a Mango body with a Red Plastic frame, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a 2 Post Tremolo bridge, die-cast sealed tuners, and Chrome hardware. The pickups installed are two VOX XLM Humbucker and 6 individual saddle piezo pickups. This guitar uses an AEROS-D Modelling System which incorporates the control module, master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector. 
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with the 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast articulate playing. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and with its 12" radius is well suited to lead lines and string bending. This paired with the Medium Jumbo frets ensures a playing experience which is perfect for the more technical player. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck is pleasant to the touch and ensures that navigation of the 25.125" scale length is an absolute breeze. 
 
The Starstream Type 1 employs the use of an AREOS-D system which allows the player to utilise the guitar's modelling capabilities. With nine banks of instruments, with three variations in each, and two user banks to store up to six favourite sounds, this guitar is sure to keep you inspired and entertained on any setting that you choose to use. The additional 'Drive/Reverb' knob allows you to dial in some extra effects to your tones, with the idea being that you wouldn't always need to bring a pedalboard with you as everything you need will be at your fingertips.
