Here for sale we have a Vintage VSA650 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Amber Burst finish. Made in Korea, this guitar consists of a Laminated Birdseye Maple body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Gold-plated hardware, a Tune-O-Matic bridge, a Stoptail tailpiece, and upgraded Grover-style tuners. The pickups installed are a set of upgraded aftermarket P90 pickups that are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector.
The Maple neck plays well, with a thin-feeling 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial yet articulate grip across the register. The 1.69" nut width strikes a comfortable balance between ample string spacing and not being too wide and unwieldy, perfect for a wide range of playing styles & techniques. The double cutaway provides excellent access to the upper frets making it much easier to reach those higher notes. The familiar lines of the body, clearly based on the ES-335, are comfortable and practical, ensuring that long sessions in either standing or seated positions are a breeze.
The pair of upgraded P-90 pickups installed in this guitar deliver an incredibly versatile range of tones that lend themselves well to a variety of styles whilst remaining unique. P-90 pickups are known to fall somewhere between a humbucker and single-coil, with more brightness than a humbucker whilst sounding thicker than a typical single-coil. This is certainly true with these P-90 pickups, with plenty of grunt for your drive and distortion tones, whilst retaining the brightness required for crystalline clean tones.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching, indentation and delamination of the finish. Most notably an indentation to the top of the V in the Vintage logo that has marked but not removed the finish, and indentation to the top edge which has removed the finish to reveal the wood beneath. Delamination is apparent to the top edge binding and around the 'e' in Vintage. The rear of the headstock demonstrates holes from the previous tuners being installed.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates a knot in the wood that has resulted in a slightly raised area beneath the finish that can be lightly felt by the hand in playing position. Light cracking is apparent to the fingerboard binding.
Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching and indentations, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Most notably concentrated scratching to the rear face and indentations to the lower bout sides that mark but have not removed any of the finish.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light to moderate scratching, tarnishing and fading of the gold plating is apparent to the bridge, tailpiece, pickup covers and tuners. The tuners have been changed to grover-style tuners. Original tuners not included.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
