Here for sale we have a Tokai ULC136S in Snow White finish. Made in Japan in 2023, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a 2-Piece Canadian Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 22 Medium Jumbo fret Indian Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Gold LS-VB bridge, LS-VT tailpiece and a set of sealed tuning machines. The pickups featured are a pair of PAF Vintage MK2 humbuckers, these pickups are wired to two independent volume controls, two independent tone controls and a three-way pickup selector.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the 50’s Style profile that fills the hand nicely for a comfortable grip when chord playing, without being so big as to feel cumbersome. This allows for fast and articulate playing, with easy reach across the register. The Indian Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its traditional 12" radius strikes a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for string bending and lead lines. The traditional control layout keeps everything within easy reach without intruding on the playing experience.
The pair of PAF Vintage MK2 humbuckers deliver thick, full-bodied tones just as you would expect from a guitar of this style. The neck pickup is warm and round, with plenty of grunt for driving the amp into a saturated distortion- perfect for your solo sounds. The PAF Vintage MK2 bridge pickup is of course hotter and brighter, easily cutting through the mix on your rock rhythm parts. The traditional twin-humbucker controls with independent volume and tone pots ensure that you remain in full control of your sound at all times, allowing you to sculpt your perfect sound right on the guitar.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
