Here for sale we have a Tokai ES-60 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Sunburst finish. Made in Korea, this guitar consists of a Laminated Maple body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Tune-o-Matic bridge, a Stopbar Tailpiece, and vintage-style tuning machines with Kluson-style tulip buttons. The pickups installed are a pair of Humbuckers that are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector.
The Rosewood fingerboard feels great under the fingers and the neck sits very comfortably in the hand. The 12” radius provides a great playing surface allowing for bending and vibrato techniques and the double cutaway body allows unobstructed access to the higher register, great for those jazzy style lead lines. The laminated Maple body produces a bright top end, tight, warm low end and great sustain. The bright tone of the body pairs really nicely with the bright, snappiness of the Maple neck.
The pair of Humbuckers in this guitar offer warm and rich tones, with the neck position providing thick and creamy tones that saturate beautifully into full-bodied distortion as you crank the gain. The bridge position is as bright and biting as you could ever need, helping you to cut through any mix with your rock rhythm tones. The traditional control layout keeps things feeling simple, with easy and intuitive tonal shaping.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Residue is apparent to the top edge of the headstock. A very light chip to the lacquer finish is present to the bass side top tip, this has not exposed the wood beneath. Light markings are present to the front face of the headstock, these can be seen under direct light either side of the truss rod cover. All aspects of the headstock display light to mild scratching, these are only visible under direct light.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.
Body: Overall very good condition. Moderate marking and scratching is present to the rear face lower bout, these continue to the lower bout edge either side of the strap button. All other aspects of the body display light to mild scratching which is visible under direct light, the most apparent of this can be seen scattered around the rear face consistent with buckle rash and to the bass side of the front face also consistent with past play wear.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the metal hardware display light to mild scratching, this is most apparent to the pickup covers. Indentations are present to the tailpiece, this is from a previous owner top wrapping the strings. Mild fine scratching is present to the pick guard, these can be viewed under direct light.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
