Here for sale we have a Taylor GS7 Grand Symphony Acoustic Guitar in Natural Gloss finish. Made in the USA in 2009, this guitar consists of a solid Cedar top, solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include Gold Taylor enclosed tuners, an Ebony bridge, Abalone dot inlays, and Ebony bridge pins.
The Mahogany neck plays beautifully, with Taylor's neck profile providing a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The profile is a soft 'V' shape, which delivers plenty of character whilst remaining thin enough for fast articulate playing. The gloss finish to the rear assists with navigation of the 25.5" scale, whilst the fairly wide nut width at 1.75" ensures ample string spacing for accurate fretting. The Grand Symphony body shape is slightly different for Taylor, and whilst certainly large, remains comfortable and easily manageable in the arms.
Acoustically, this guitar produces an incredibly full tone at a wonderful volume due to the woods used and the Grand Symphony body shape. The Indian Rosewood back and sides provide so much resonance and sustain that notes ring out for what feels like forever. The Cedar top adds the brightness and clarity to every note and chord, providing an overall tone that is sure to inspire and will make it very hard to put this guitar down!

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the headstock display light signs of past use.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck has lightly polished to a Gloss texture through regular past use, this is common with Satin finishes. Light pitting is present to the early register of the fingerboard, these can not be felt in the playing position and can only be seen under close scrutiny.
Body: Overall excellent condition. A light indentation is present to the bottom edge of the body, this has lightly pierced the lacquer finish. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can only be seen under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1/4" socket) not included.
Hardware: Overall excellent condition. Light tarnishing is present to the tuning machines.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.75mm - Bass 2.25mm
