Here for sale we have a Taylor 814ce-L7 Electro Acoustic Guitar in Natural Gloss finish. Made in the USA in 2004, this guitar consists of a solid Sitka Spruce top, a 3-piece Cocobolo back with a Maple Wedge, Cocobolo back and sides, a Tropical Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include Gold tuners with Ebony buttons, Flame Maple binding, an Ebony bridge, and a Taylor ES-1 preamp and pickup system. This system has controls for volume, treble, and bass.

The Tropical Mahogany neck plays fabulously, with Taylor's ever-popular neck profile sitting comfortably in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The profile might be described as a rather slim 'C' shape which encourages ergonomic thumb positioning and easy reach across the fretboard. The satin finish to the rear of the neck assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale, whilst the partial cutaway enhances access to the upper frets. The West African Crelicam Ebony of the fingerboard is supremely luxurious to the touch, and with its 14" radius ensures practicality for a wide range of playing styles and techniques.

The Sitka Spruce top offers a nice warm tone, much like Cedar but with a slightly brighter top end, while still articulating very well. The Cocobolo back and sides compliment this perfectly, giving the guitar a smooth transient response while still packing an excellent dynamic range. The Taylor ES-1 preamp system offers excellent tonal shaping, perfect for any playing situation you find yourself in. When amplified through the  pickup, the guitar's natural acoustic sound is accurately reproduced with clarity and balance, allowing players to capture the full tonal character of the instrument in live performance or recording situations.

Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
