Here for sale we have a Taylor 324ce Electro Acoustic Guitar in Shaded Edge Burst finish. Made in the USA in 2022, this guitar consists of a Solid Tropical Mahogany top, a Solid Tasmanian Blackwood body, a Tropical Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret West African Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include V Class bracing, Taylor Nickel tuners, Gemstone Italian Acrylic inlays, and a Taylor ES2 Electronic system with controls for volume, treble, and bass.
The Tropical Mahogany neck plays very well, with Taylor's 'Standard Carve' neck profile filling the hand nicely for a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The profile might be described as a moderately-sized 'C' shape, well suited to a wide range of playing styles and genres. The West African Ebony of the fingerboard is dark in appearance, and with a nice tight grain adds a sense of luxury to the playing experience, which is nicely accentuated by the handsome fingerboard inlays. The traditional Taylor 15" radius is practical for both melodic and chordal playing styles, whilst the smooth lines of the Grand Auditorium body are comfortable in both standing and seated positions.
The acoustic voice of the Taylor 324ce is nicely balanced. It delivers plenty of warmth and character thanks to its large stature as a Grand Auditorium body, whilst the fine selection of tonewoods that have been used in its construction add both depth & sparkling top end to the sound. The low end is warm & gentle without being too soft, whilst the mid range is open & clear. The Solid Tropical Mahogany top adds some characteristic Taylor top end without being too bright, as well as projecting very well for plenty of dynamic range. Taylor's excellent ES2 system faithfully conveys the acoustic voice of the instrument as always. A typically well made & handsomely appointed instrument from Taylor.
