Here for sale we have a Taylor 214ce-SB DLX Electro Acoustic Guitar in Sunburst finish. Made in Mexico in 2017, this guitar consists of a Solid Sitka Spruce top, Layered Rosewood back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret West African Crelicam Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include a Venetian cutaway, Taylor Nickel tuners, a West African Ebony bridge, and Taylor Expression System 2 Electronics. These electronics have controls for volume, treble, and bass.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Standard neck carve profile feeling smooth and comfortable in the hand. This offers a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The 15" fingerboard radius is traditional for Taylor, and being made from Ebony provides a smooth, durable & luxurious playing surface. The Grand Auditorium body design is supremely comfortable in the arms, with the cutaway enhancing access to the upper register.
The acoustic voice of the Taylor 214ce-SB DLX is bright and clear, with an unpronounced yet accurate low end, strong mid response and sparkling trebles which add a shimmer and chime to every note played on the instrument. The Grand Auditorium body design delivers the best of both large and compact bodies; sizable enough to produce a powerful and clear voice whilst remaining small enough to be comfortable in the arms. The Sitka Spruce top projects beautifully and offers a wide dynamic range, whilst producing a warmer & more refined tone than a typical un-aged Spruce top. Taylor's Expression System 2 faithfully conveys the acoustic voice of the instrument, providing the versatility required for both live and recording situations.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the headstock display light signs of past use.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck has been lightly polished to a Gloss texture that is common with past use.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present to the front face lower bout, these have lightly pierced the lacquer finish. Light delamination of the lacquer finish is present to the bass side should near the controls, this has not broken through the finish.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1/4" socket) not included.
Hardware: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2mm - Bass 2.5mm
