Here for sale we have a Takamine TSF48C Santa Fe NEX Electro Acoustic Guitar in Natural Gloss finish. Made in Japan in 2019, this guitar consists of a Solid Spruce top, Solid Rosewood back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 21-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include American Eagle inlays, Gold tuners with Amber Pearl buttons, X-bracing, a Black Crow rosette, a STP-3 CoolTube Preamp system, and a Palathetic under-saddle pickup. This pickup and preamp system has extensive onboard controls to control the tone and volume of the guitar.
The Gloss Natural finish is framed on top and back by multi-ply Maple purfling, and the soundhole sports a distinct ‘Southwestern’-style rosette which projects the sound beautifully. The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, providing ergonomic thumb positioning and easy fretting up and down the neck. The Gloss finish to the rear of the neck provides a comfortable playing surface, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers offering a smooth playing surface. The cutaway enhances access to the upper frets, whilst the smooth lines of the body ensure this instrument is comfortable and practical to play in seated or standing positions.
The acoustic voice of the Takamine TSF48C Santa Fe NEX is warm and rich, with the all solid construction allowing the wood to resonate clearly for a lively and responsive playing experience. The Rosewood back and sides provide a deep, rich and warm tone with a defined low end, smooth midrange and sparkling highs. The Sitka Spruce top "X" bracing contributes to the guitar's excellent projection and sustain whilst producing a shimmering top end. A wide dynamic range is available, feeling highly sensitive to the player's touch. The CTP-3 CoolTube preamp and Palathetic Under-Saddle pickup do an excellent job of amplifying the guitar's natural voice whilst also provide extensive control over the tone to suit the player's needs.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. A light indentation which has caused slight delamination is present to the tip of the headstock, this has not exposed the wood. Light scuff marking is present to the front face treble side edge near the high E tuning machine, this can be seen under close scrutiny. Very light scratching is present to the front face, this can be seen under direct light as is common with high gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. Very light indentations are present to the rear pf the neck, these can only be seen under close scrutiny under direct light as the 3rd/4th frets and can not be felt in the playing position. All other aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.
Body: Overall very good condition. Three very light indentations can be seen to the front face bass side lower bout and to the lower bout near the edge, these can be seen under direct light under close scrutiny. All aspects of the body display light scratching which an only be see under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the hardware display lights of past use.
Structural: No concerns or issues to not.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.75mm - Bass 2.25mm
