Here for sale we have a Takamine GN30CE-NAT Electro Acoustic Guitar in Gloss Natural finish. Made in China in 2020, this guitar consists of a Solid Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, a Mahogany neck with a 20-fret Ovangkol fingerboard. Other appointments include a Pearloid rosette, a set of Chrome sealed tuning machines and a Compensated saddle. A Takamine TP-4TD pre-amp system is featured with controls for bass/mids/treble, a gain control and a built-in tuner.
The Satin finished Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with a profile resembling a Slim ‘C’ that facilitates a wide variety of playing styles whilst retaining comfort in all points of the register. The Ovangkol fingerboard feels pleasant to the touch and the 12" radius feels consistent making fretting a breezy and sumptuous affair in any register. The NEX body size feels great in both seated and standing positions, whilst the single-cutaway offers extended reach to the higher frets.
This instrument voice is warm and detailed, with the Mahogany back and sides producing a loud and responsive midrange. The Solid Spruce top provides a balanced tone with plenty of low end power and warm detail. The understated high end of this guitar remains detailed but subtle, adding unique character to this guitar, making this guitar perfect for singer songwriter styles of playing. The Takamine TP-4TD Preamp System accurately captures the voice of the instrument, adding versatility for both live and recording situations.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The top edge and very tip demonstrates light scuff marks that could not be removed during our cleaning process. The treble side of the cutaway demonstrates very light chipping to the finish.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light indentations to the centre of the early register that cannot be felt by the hand in playing position. Further indentations are apparent to the bass side, near the side dots of the 8th and 9th & 13th frets. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles, most notably a mark to the finish is apparent to the front face bass side lower bout.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) is included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light tarnishing is apparent to the tuners.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
