Takamine G406S Gloss Natural Acoustic Guitar
Here for sale we have a Takamine G406S acoustic guitar in Gloss Natural. This guitar features a set-neck construction consisting of Rosewood sides, 3-piece back featuring Rosewood with a Quilt Maple centre strip, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard.
 
The profile of the neck could be described as a “D” shape. THe slightly flat back makes for easier fretting up and down the neck. The gloss finish to the rear makes for fluid transitions while the standard size 1.69” nut makes each string across the frets easy to reach. The small body sits comfortably against the body.
 
The small body of the G460S and its solid Spruce top makes for a punchy tone. The Rosewood back and sides provide a deep, rich and warm tone with a defined low end, smooth midrange and sparkling highs. The Spruce top contributes to the guitar's excellent projection and sustain whilst producing a shimmering top end.
 
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers.     Aesthetic Condition:

    Headstock: Overall very good condition. All aspects demonstrate light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The top edge tip demonstrates very light scuffing. Any other markings to the headstock are difficult to discern.

    Neck: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the neck demonstrate very light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The fingerboard demonstrates indentations to the bass side of the 5th and centre of the 14th fret. These cannot be felt beneath the string and do not effect the instruments feel or playability.

    Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light to mild scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Most concentrated at the rear face of the upper bout. There is a very small finish crack on the bottom edge.

     

    Condition of Frets:

    The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

     

    Current Set Up:

    Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

    Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Mild tarnishing is apparent to the tuning posts.

    Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

     

    Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
