Here for sale we have a Takamine EF-591-ME Electro-Acoustic Guitar in Trans Black finish. Made in Japan in 1986, a Flamed Maple top, Flamed Maple back and sides, a Maple neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Gold Tuners, an Ebony bridge, a deep cutaway, a Fingerboard Mounted Humbucker pickup, and an under-saddle piezo pickup. These pickups have two outputs to choose from, and controls for gain, treble, bass, and blend.
 
The Takamine EF-591-ME has a reputation for being comfortable and easy to play. The slim 'V' profile of the neck and string action make it easy for players to move around the fingerboard and execute complex chord changes and solos. The gloss finish to the rear enhances the manoeuvrability of the neck, making for an effortless playing experience. The Ebony fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12" radius is highly practical for both chordal and melodic playing styles. The single cutaway enhances access to the upper frets, really opening up the full register of the instrument. 
 
The acoustic voice of the Takamine EF-591-ME is delicate and well balanced, being well suited to both chordal and fingerstyle players. The small body size produces an intimate feeling tone that is perfect for recording or live situations, blending in very well with other instruments. The Maple construction of the body ensures a nice bright overall tone, with an understated yet accurate low end, clear midrange and sparkling highs. The top projects well, providing a wide dynamic range that feels very sensitive. The pickups featured are a discreetly hidden humbucker as part of the Rosewood fingerboard, and an under-saddle piezo pickup. These provide two completely different sounds for the player to experiment with and find the right tone for you.
