Here for sale we have a Takamine EF-341C Electro Acoustic Guitar in Black finish. Made in Japan in 1988, this guitar consists of a Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Takamine Enclosed Chrome tuners, a Rosewood bridge, and a Takamine Preamp and Pickup system. This system has controls for gain, treble, and bass.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Asymmetrical 'C' profile offering easy reach and comfortable playability in all registers. The gloss finish to the rear of the neck is nicely tactile under the thumb, and assists with smooth navigation of the 25.375" scale. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, The Dreadnought cutaway body shape fills the arms well without feeling cumbersome, whilst the cutaway enhances access to the upper register.
The acoustic voice of the EF-341C is supremely well balanced, offering a warm yet understated low end, clear and open mid range and sparkling, shimmery highs that beautifully colour every note played on the instrument. The choice of woods selected ensures a rich resonance which produces an intimate and connected playing experience, with a wide and sensitive dynamic range. The Takamine preamp provides plenty of variation in tone thanks to the 2-band EQ, allowing the user to adjust the low and high frequencies independently.
