Here for sale we have an incredibly exciting Squier Paranormal Custom Nashville Stratocaster in Aztec Gold finish. Squier's Paranormal Series are an interesting line of instruments first brought to market in 2020, offering reissues of Fender's lesser known oddities such as the Toronado & Super-Sonic as well as brand new models which cherry pick the best features from different Fender models for a unique look and sound at an affordable price. 
 
This Paranormal Custom Nashville Stratocaster model was made in China in 2023, and features a bolt-on construction comprising a Poplar Tele Custom-style double-bound, double cutaway body, Maple neck and 21 fret Laurel fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a 3-Saddle Tele bridge & vintage-styel split-post tuning machines. Inspired by the Nashville scene, a trio of Fender designed Alnico single-coil pickups are installed, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume & master tone controls, with a push/pull on the tone for adding the neck pickup to positions 1 & 2. 
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with the 'C' Shape profile filling the hand for a substantial but not cumbersome playing experience across the register. The gloss finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale, whilst the dual cutaways offer enhanced access to the upper frets. The Laurel of the fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with it's traditional 9.5" radius is practical for a wide range of playing styles & techniques. The Narrow Tall frets improve the feel of string bending and vibrato techniques without betraying the vintage vibe of the instrument. 
 
The trio of Fender Designed Alnico single-coil pickups installed in this guitar deliver a versatile range of tones, perfect for the contemporary guitarist who needs their instrument to fit the bill in a wide array of musical settings. The neck is round and smooth, whilst the bridge is bright and twangy, just as we expect from a Tele. The middle position delivers plenty of bouncy mids which work very well for funky rhythm parts. With a 5-way switch and the push/pull tone pot along side the responsive volume control, you'd be hard pressed to find a sound you can't make with this instrument.
