Here for sale we have a Squier Contemporary Jaguar HH ST Electric Guitar in Shoreline Gold finish. Made in China in 2022, this instrument features a bolt-on construction comprising a Poplar body, Roasted Maple neck and 22 fret Laurel fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted, including a 6-Saddle Adjustable Bridge, Stoptail tailpiece and Sealed Die-Cast with Split Shaft tuning machines. A pair of Squier SQR Atomic Humbuckers are installed, and are wired to a master volume and tone knobs and 3 position toggle switch. This Contemporary Jaguar also features a Coil Split switch and a Series/Parallel Switch.

The Roasted Maple neck plays beautifully. The Jaguar stands alone in Fender's line-up as their only short-scale instrument that was not designed as an affordable student model. The short scale certainly informs the playing experience, making for a neck that feels very easy to manoeuvre and making those long stretches easier to reach. The 12.” radius combined with Medium Jumbo frets offers all the modern appointments. Whilst the controls are extensive, they are well set out for easy access whilst playing.

Amplified, The SQR Atomic Humbuckers produce raw modern tones producing a chunky low end, punchy mid range along with a crisp and cutting high end.  A 3-way blade pickup selector switch, coil tap slider switch and a series/parallel slider switch opens up a world of tonal versatility, allowing you to re-voice the pickups between a more twangy single coil and thicker humbucking one with ease. Whilst unconventional in terms of switching, the Jaguar offers a seriously versatile set of tones that make it suitable for a wide range of genres. Indeed, the instrument has been seen in the hands of everyone from Johnny Marr to Kurt Cobain.

Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
