Here for sale we have a Spirit by Steinberger XT-2 Standard left handed headless bass in Gloss Black finish. Made in China in 2013, this guitar features a set neck construction comprising a Basswood body, a 3pc Hard Maple neck and a 24 fret Engineered Hardwood fingerboard. Featured on this instrument is a Steinberger DB system tuning bridge. A pair of Steinberger humbucking pickups are installed, with an HB-2 in the neck and an HB-1 in the bridge. These are wired to independent volume controls & a master tone.
The 1960's SlimTaper ‘D’ profile neck sits comfortably in the hand, the gloss finish to the rear providing a smooth and easily navigable surface. The 14” radius of the Engineered Hardwoodfingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers when playing, and assists with fluid transitions. The small body design offers great comfort in both seated and standing positions with its lightweight and uninhibited access to the higher register, making lead lines effortless and welcoming to a wide range of styles.
The two Steinberger pickups produce a thick and powerful tone. There are of course plenty of deep, rumbling lows which will fill out the band mix, whilst the punchy mids and sparkling top end help to create a driving sound and sense of urgency by capturing the attack of your playing. The on-board controls offer comprehensive tonal opportunities whilst maintaining a simple and non-intrusive character on the playing experience.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: N/A
Neck: Overall excellent condition, the early register of the fingerboard demonstrates some "roundwound" markings beneath the E & A strings. These cannot be felt beneath the string.
Body: Overall excellent condition. A very light indentation is present at the bass side of the neck pickup. Light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
