Here for sale we have a Solar SBR1.7FRQOB Sustainiac+ electric guitar in Quilted Ocean Blue Burst finish. Made in Indonesia in 2025 this thru-neck construction comprises an Alder body with Quilted Maple top, Roasted Maple neck and 24 fret Ebony fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted including a Gotoh 1996 Big Block bridge and Solar locking tuning machines. A Sustainiac Stealth Pro humbucker is installed in the neck while in the bridge a Seymour Duncan Black Winter humbucker is installed. The pickups are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume and master tone with coil split, Sustainiac switch and a Sustainiac Octave switch.
The Roasted Maple neck plays exceptionally well, with the 'C' profile feeling nicely slim and articulate in the hand for a precise and accurate playing experience across the register. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck is smooth to the touch and assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale. The Ebony fingerboard feels luxurious under the fingers, and with its 15.75" radius is practical for a wide range of styles and playing techniques. This is enhanced by Jumbo Stainless Steel frets, which offer smooth bending and vibrato feel whilst being more durable than traditional frets for increased resistance to fret wear.
The pair of humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver huge crushing tones whilst remaining extremely articulate and precise. The neck pickup is round and powerful, producing rich and crystalline clean tones and saturated distortions that are perfect for pushing your solos to the front of the mix. The bridge pickup is nice and bright, and with its high output delivers a searing distortion tone that is well suited to rock and metal rhythm parts. The Sustainiac in the neck position allows you to create endless sustain in 3 different modes, and with the Floyd Rose tremolo, the guitar acrobatic possibilities are endless.
