Here for sale we have a Solar A2.6C electric guitar in Carbon Black Matte finish. Made in Indonesia in 2021, this guitar features a set-thru neck construction comprising a Mahogany body, Maple neck and 24 fret Stained Rosewood fingerboard with Pearloid 'Solar' 12th fret inlay. Black hardware is fitted, including a string-through-body hardtail bridge & sealed tuning machines. A pair of Duncan Solar passive humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume and master tone controls.
 
The 'C' profile Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, feeling slender and focussing on precise and easy fretting in all registers. This is enhanced by the super jumbo frets which also improve the ease of vibrato and string bending techniques. Fret access is a dream in the upper register. Pairing the generous cutaways with the set-thru-neck joint means there is nothing to impede your playing in the top frets. The string-through-body hardtail bridge ensures rock-solid tuning stability with even the most extreme tunings or bends.
 
The Duncan Solar pickups deliver a high output and produce a thick and powerful modern tone. With a tight low end, a full and defined midrange and a crisp and articulate top end, the pickups are perfect for pushing the front end of an amplifier. The bridge position is bright and aggressive without sounding too harsh, and tracks low-down riffing with ease.  The neck position is rounder whilst retaining a fierce attack which works brilliantly for lead lines & solos. The 5-way blade switch ensures plenty of versatility, allowing for split coil tones in the in-between positions which are great for clean sounds. A serious workhorse for contemporary players.
