Here for sale we have a Sire Larry Carlton S7 electric guitar in Sunburst finish. Made in Indonesia in 2023 this guitar features a bolt-on construction consisting of an Alder body, roasted Maple neck and 22 fret roasted Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include locking tuning machines and two post tremolo bridge. A pair of single coil pickups are fitted with a humbucker in the bridge position. These are wired to a 5-way pickup selector, volume and tone.
 
The Roasted Hard Maple neck plays very well, feeling exceptionally luxurious in the hand thanks to its deep rich colour and grain, as well as the satin finish to the rear. The profile might be described as a standard 'C' shape, which fills the hand comfortably for a substantial grip whilst remaining slim enough for fast articulate playing. The Gloss finished Roasted Maple fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets is practical for a wide range of styles and techniques. 
 
The pickups in this guitar offer a great versatile sound, they produce a mixture of sparkly tones with a hint of a darker undertones, whilst retaining clarity with each note. The humbucker in the bridge provides a full driving mid range with the best natural harmonic overtones, and a top end that produces a crunchy edge. The single-coil in the middle position produces a smooth single coil sound with more output and more mids, providing bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. The single-coil in the neck position provides a warm, rounded sound, offering a smooth tone that handles distorted tones as well as it handles clean tones.
