Here for sale we have a Sire Larry Carlton A3GS Grand Auditorium electro-acoustic guitar in Gloss Natural finish. Made in Indonesia in 2021, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Solid Spruce top, Laminated Mahogany back & sides, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Indian Rosewood fingerboard with matching bridge. The top is adorned with handsome Herringbone purfling and matching rosette. A Bone saddle & nut are fitted, along with a set of Chrome sealed tuning machines. A hybrid pickup system with undersaddle piezo pickup and internal microphone is installed and is wired to shoulder mounted controls for Master Volume, Pickup Blend & Master Tone.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the profile filling the hand nicely for a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The profile might be described as a moderately-sized 'C' shape, well suited to a wide range of playing styles and genres. The Indian Rosewood of the fingerboard is dark in appearance, and with a nice tight grain adds a sense of luxury to the playing experience. The traditional 16" radius is practical for both melodic and chordal playing styles, whilst the smooth lines of the Grand Auditorium body are comfortable in both standing and seated positions.
The acoustic voice of the Sire A3GS is rich and well balanced, and is well suited to a wide range of genres and playing styles. The Solid Spruce top projects very well, and provides a wide, sensitive dynamic range. The Laminated Mahogany back and sides add some depth and character to the sound, whilst the Grand Auditorium body design strikes a perfect balance between open and airy strummed chords and precision for fingerstyle and melodic lines. The Hybrid pickup system faithfully conveys the acoustic voice of the instrument, adding the versatility required for both live and recording situations.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. A very light scuff is present to the treble side rear corner. Light scratching to the front face is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light to mild scratching of the fingerboard is most apparent at the 4th & 8th frets. These markings are not felt in the playing position and do not impact playability. Very light scratching to the rear of the neck is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Body: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Any other markings to the body are difficult to discern.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and excellent condition.
Structural: The rear of the bridge shows a very small gap. This is likely to do with the manufacturing process where the top is lacquered before the bridge is fixed down. Whilst this is not currently affecting the structure of the instrument, it is worth being aware of.
