Here for sale we have a Simon & Patrick Woodland Spruce Electro Acoustic Guitar in Natural Satin finish. Made in Canada in 2006, this guitar consists of a Solid Spruce top, Laminate Cherry back and sides, a Silver Leaf Maple neck, and a 21-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Rosewood bridge, Chrome enclosed tuners, and an aftermarket LR Baggs Anthem SL pickup with controls for volume, and mic blend.
The Silver Leaf Maple neck plays very well, offering a great feel with its 'C’ shaped neck providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The finish to the rear of the neck is akin to satin, making for effortless transitions whilst feeling pleasing under the thumb. The Rosewood fretboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and with its 16” fretboard radius provides a balanced surface that greatly lends itself to both chord playing and intricate fingerpicking lines.
The sound of the Woodland Spruce is very warm and dynamic and thanks to its Solid Spruce top, it has the ability to really project when strummed hard. A warm low end is complemented well by a smooth midrange, whilst the high frequencies are bright and detailed. The sound of the Simon & Patrick Woodland Spruce really lends itself to the classic singer/songwriter sound. A very well crafted instrument that is comfortable and practical for a wide range of musical situations, and the addition of the LR Baggs Anthem SL means that it is well equipped for recording and live performances.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
