Here for sale we have a Sigma DM-SG5 Electro-Acoustic Guitar in Heritage Cherry Sunburst Gloss finish. Made in China in 2022, this guitar features a Solid Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, 20 fret Micarta fingerboard with matching bridge and a Mahogany neck. Other appointments include Grover tuners, and a Micarta bridge. The pickup featured is a Under Saddle Fishman Sonitone with soundhole mounted volume and tone controls.

The “Low Profile” sits comfortably in the hand, feeling quick and provides ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers. The Micarta fingerboard is pleasant to the touch and provides a smooth and reliable playing surface, whilst the traditional 14" radius strikes a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for string bending. The dreadnought design fills the arms nicely, giving a lively and responsive playing experience.

The acoustic voice is clear and direct, with a warm, rounded low end, tight mids and a crisp, articulate top end, all without sounding overly bright. The under saddle Fishman Sonitone captures the natural voice of the instrument perfectly, whilst keeping things simple with a single volume and tone control mounted discreetly in the soundhole. Overall an excellent guitar, great for all sorts of genres but particularly excelling in singer-songwriter rhythm styles.
