Here for sale we have a Rickenbacker 660 Electric Guitar in Jetglo finish. Made in the USA in 2013, this guitar consists of a Charactered Maple body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Lacquered Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Chequered Black and White binding, a Trapeze tailpiece, Gotoh vintage-type tuners, a Rickenbacker Tunematic Bridge, and a set of Vintage Single Coil Toaster Top pickups. These pickups are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, a blend knob, and a three-way pickup selector.
The Maple neck plays very well. The profile feels substantial yet comfortable in the hand, and with the glossy finish to the rear provides a fluid and expressive playing experience in all registers. This is further accentuated by the Lacquered Rosewood fingerboard which feels supremely smooth and glassy under the fingers. Its 10" radius strikes a fine balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending. The compact body design with bevelled edges sits nicely against the body for a comfortable playing experience in both standing and seated positions.
The pair of Rickenbacker Vintage Single Coil Toaster Top installed in this guitar deliver the bright, jangly tones which are sought after by so many. Both the neck and bridge positions are clear and articulate, capturing all of the nuances of your playing and the full range of tones available to the player. The neck is slightly rounder, helping you to blend into the mix. The bridge is of course brighter, and delivers a tone which easily cuts through the mix to put your playing front and centre. The on-board controls offer comprehensive control of your sound right on the instrument.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light to mild indentations and chipping of the finish are present to the top edge of the headstock, the most apparent of these can be seen to the treble side where a previous owner has attempted a finish repair. All aspects of the headstock display light to mild scratching which can be seen under direct light as is common with gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light indentations and scratching is present to the rear of the neck across the register, the most apparent indentations can be felt slightly at the 9th fret, all indentations and scratching can only be seen under direct light. A light indentation present to the 1st fret of the fingerboard, this can be seen under close scrutiny and can not be felt in the playing position.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light to moderate scratching, indentations and chipping of the finish is present to all aspects of the body, the most apparent chipping can be seen to the bottom bout where a previous owner has attempted a finish repair. Light hazing of the finish is present to all aspects of the body, this is common with nitrocellulose finishes.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1/4" socket) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. A light crack can be seen on the scratch plate towards the lower bout. Light to mild tarnishing of the finish can be seen to all aspects of the metal hardware, this is consistent with past use. A spare scratch plate is included.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
