Here for sale we have a Rickenbacker 620/12 in Midnight Blue finish. Made in the USA in 2004, this guitar features a neck-through construction comprising a Maple body, Maple neck and 21 fret Lacquered Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a 6-saddle covered bridge and Schaller sealed tuning machines. A pair of Rickenbacker Hi-Gain single-coil pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, independent volume and tone controls and a blend control, along with a 'Rick-o-Sound' stereo output.
The Maple neck plays very well, with a rather substantially-sized profile which might be described as a 'D' shape. Whilst certainly a deep profile, the nut width is nice and narrow for a 12 string. This makes the guitar feel more like a 6 string, meaning that you can reach tricky chord voicings and play lead lines with ease. The Lacquered Rosewood fingerboard is a rather unique feature of Rickenbacker's which provides a smooth and durable paying surface. The neck-through construction and 600 series signature 'Cresting Wave' body design offers enhanced access to the upper register, whilst the nice compact body keeps the weight low and provides a comfortable playing experience in both standing and seated positions.
The pair of Rickenbacker Hi-Gain single-coil pickups installed in this guitar deliver the bright, jangly tones which are sought after by so many. Both the neck and bridge positions are clear and articulate, capturing all of the nuances of your playing and the full range of all 12 strings. The neck is slightly rounder, helping you to blend into the mix. The bridge is of course brighter, and delivers a tone which easily cuts through the mix to put your playing front and centre. The stereo output allows you to route your signal in a multitude of ways, perfect for creating unique soundscapes. The on-board controls offer comprehensive control of your sound right on the instrument.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light scratching to the rear of the headstock is present behind the nut, and can be seen under direct light. The seams where the headstock is constructed are visible under close scrutiny due to shrinking of the lacquer, as is common with nitro finishes.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Mild scratching which has pierced the finish can be seen to the rear of the neck near the heel, lightly felt in the playing position. Very light scratching to the fingerboard is visible across the register under close scrutiny. These markings are not felt under the fingers and do not impact playability.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light marking is present to the center of the rear face, consistent with the use of a stand and the nitrocellulose finish reacting. All aspects of the body display light scratching and indentations which can only be seen under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes. This is most notable to the rear face consistent with playwear.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
