Here for sale we have a PRS Wood Library Custom 24 in Satin Matteo Blue finish. Crafted in the USA in 2024, this guitar has been made using the very best timbers hand selected from the PRS wood library, with features normally only available in the Artist Package & Private Stock ranges. This instrument features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a Flamed Maple '10' top, Roasted Flamed Maple neck and 24 fret Ebony fingerboard with bird inlays made from high-grade Abalone. The hardware on this guitar is finished in a balanced mixture of Chrome and Gold finishes, with PRS open-geared tuning machines and 6-point PRS tremolo bridge. The pickups are a pair of PRS 85/15 humbuckers, wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume and master tone controls. 
 
Firstly, it's important to appreciate the beautiful appearance and craftsmanship of this guitar. From the moment you open the case it's clear that this is an instrument of finest quality, with materials hand selected from PRS' wood library making this guitar absolutely unique. The fit and finish of this instrument is absolutely flawless, and is a real credit to PRS' craftsmanship and a true work of art. 
 
The Roasted Flamed Maple neck plays beautifully, with the Pattern Thin neck profile feeling exceptionally comfortable in the hand and lending itself well to a wide variety of playing styles. The Ebony fingerboard is supremely pleasant to the touch and further enhances the luxurious playing experience that this guitar offers. The 10" radius provides a smooth and consistent playing surface right the way up the register, whilst the sculpted lower horn ensures that access to the upper frets is uninhibited. 
 
The pair of PRS 85/15 humbucking pickups draw together elements from both vintage and modern designs to deliver exceptional clarity and extended high and low frequency response. With balanced clarity across the whole spectrum, these pickups are perfect for players looking to drive a pedalboard, whilst retaining enough character to deliver when plugged directly into an amp. With the pickup selector offering 5 different voices, there are plenty of tonal options right on the guitar without the controls intruding on the playing experience.
