Here for sale we have a PRS SE Paul's Guitar Electric Guitar in Black Gold Burst finish. Built in Indonesia in 2020, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a carved Maple top topped with a Flame Maple veneer and a Mahogany neck with 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with Medium Jumbo frets, Gotoh Vintage Style locking tuners, a wraparound stoptail bridge with brass inserts and TCI 'S' bass and treble pickups, wired to their own mini coil tap toggle switches as well as a 3-way selector, master volume and master tone.
The neck has a Wide fat profile, providing a substantial yet extremely comfortable playing feel. Many of the more modern PRS guitars have a Wide Thin profile so this guitar would suit someone looking for a more ‘Vintage Style’ feeling PRS guitar. The neck of this particular example has been sanded down to a smooth satin finish by the previous owner to further enhance the effortless playing experience. Medium Jumbo frets assist with speedy fretting, as well as enhancing string bending and vibrato techniques. The body is generously contoured making it comfortable to play in standing or seated positions.
The electronics installed in this guitar are also very different to anything we’ve seen on an SE model with two mini-toggle switches that allow you to put either or both pickups in humbucking or true single-coil modes. The clarity and unique tones of these vintage-inspired pickups are both big and nuanced, so that you can easily find your tonal sweet spot. This is the first model to offer this style of electronics outside of the Private Stock and Core lines.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The headstock demonstrates light to mild scratching and scuffing throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. Most notably to the front face above the G string post, and the front face tip.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. Most notably a scratch is present to the bass side, in line with the 2nd fret. This can be felt beneath the finger upon inspection but cannot be felt in the playing position.
The fingerboard displays light scratching in frets 8 and 10, which cannot be felt beneath the string. Some tooling marks are present to the edges of the fretboard from manufacturing.
Body: Overall excellent condition. The rear face of the body demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct lighting at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. Any other markings to the body are difficult to discern.
Condition of Frets:
Overall very good condition. Moderate indentations are apparent in the early register which quickly improve further up the fingerboard. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (7mm) included.
Hardware: Overall excellent condition. It is difficult to discern any markings to the hardware.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
