Here for sale we have a modified PRS S2 Custom 22 Semi Hollow Electric Guitar in Grey Black finish. Made in the USA in 2015, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a Flamed Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Nickel hardware is fitted including a PRS vintage-style 6-point tremolo bridge & PRS S2 locking tuning machines. A pair of PRS #7 passive humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume & master tone with push/pull coil-split.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the 'Pattern Regular' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial yet articulate grip, well suited to a wide range of styles and playing techniques. The gloss finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 25" scale, whilst the generous double cutaway design with its signature PRS sculpted lower horn ensures unrestricted access to the upper frets. The Rosewood of the fingerboard is nice and dark in appearance, and with its tight grain and striking bird inlays adds a sense of luxury to the playing experience.
The pair of PRS #7 humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied tones, well suited to a wide range of styles, from rock riffs to bluesy lead lines and even shimmering clean sounds. The semi-hollow construction adds a sense of airiness & a sensitive dynamic range. The neck pickup is round and warm, and is perfect for lead and solo tones. The bridge is brighter, cutting through the mix easily to put your rock rhythm playing front and centre. The addition of a push/pull coil split is very welcome, adding the versatility required for single-coil style sounds in those softer moments of the set.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. A very light chip is present to the treble side front edge, very lightly exposing the wood. The top rear edge shows very light indentation.Very light scratching to all aspects of the headstock is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light to mild chipping & delamination of the finish is present at either side of the fingerboard, more notable on the treble side. This is stable and should not worsen with regular use. Very light scratching to the rear of the neck is visible under direct light & close scrutiny, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Body: Overall good condition. A racing stripe has been added to the top by a previous owner. This has been performed to an acceptable standard, however the paint shows cracking similar to nitro checking. A mild chip in the white paint is present towards the bottom edge, exposing the black finish beneath. Light to mild indentation is present throughout the body, in places lightly piercing the finish but not exposing the wood. This is most notable around the lower bout of the front face, particularly near the controls & treble side front edge. Light to mild scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light.
Condition of Frets:
This instrument has had a fret level and re-crown to ensure improved playability. There is moderate material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. Due to the installation of a pickguard, screwholes are present in the top if the pickguard was to be removed. The pickup covers show very light tarnishing. The cavity covers to the rear show mild scratching consistent with buckle rash.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
