Here for sale we have a PRS S2 Custom 22 Semi Hollow Electric Guitar in Grey Black finish. Made in the USA in 2015, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Flamed Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include S2 Locking tuners, a PRS Tremolo, Nickel hardware, bird inlays, and a set of PRS #7 Humbuckers. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone (push/pull coil split), 3-way pickup selector.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the 'Pattern Regular' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial yet articulate grip, well suited to a wide range of styles and playing techniques. The gloss finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 25" scale, whilst the generous double cutaway design with its signature PRS sculpted lower horn ensures unrestricted access to the upper frets. The Rosewood of the fingerboard is nice and dark in appearance, and with its tight grain and striking bird inlays adds a sense of luxury to the playing experience.
The pair of PRS #7 humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied tones, well suited to a wide range of styles, from rock riffs to bluesy lead lines and even shimmering clean sounds. The neck pickup is round and warm, and is perfect for lead and solo tones. The bridge is brighter, cutting through the mix easily to put your rock rhythm playing front and centre. The addition of a push/pull coil split is very welcome, adding the versatility required for single-coil style sounds in those softer moments of the set.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. A light chip to the finish is present to the treble side edge of the headstock, this has exposed the wood beneath. Light indentation is present to the top edge where the lacquer has lightly cracked, this has not exposed the wood beneath. All aspects of the headstock display light scratching which can be seen under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall good condition. Mild chipping of the lacquer finish can be seen to the treble side higher register of the fingerboard, this can be felt in the playing position. Light to mild scratching and marking is present throughout the register to the rear of the neck, these can be seen under direct light.
Body: Overall good condition. A previous owner has painted a racing stripe to the bass side lower bout, with this it appears that the added paint is nitrocellulose as finish checking is present to this area as well as a mild chip to the finish. Light to mild indentations are present to all aspects of the body with the most noticeable being seen under direct light to the lower bout front face, these have not broken through the finish. All aspects of the body display light to moderate scratching, these can be seen under direct light as is common with gloss finishes.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. A previous owner has applied a pickguard, with this screw holes will be present when removing the pickguard. Light to mild tarnishing of the finish can be seen to the bridge and pickup covers, this is consistent with regular past use. Tremolo arm not included.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
