Here for sale we have a PRS Modern Eagle V in Purple Mist. Made in the USA in 2024 this guitar features a set-neck construction consisting of a Mahogany body with 10 top Flamed Maple top, Mahogany Neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. The body of this PRS exhibits remarkable chatoyancy while the Rosewood fingerboard displays a luxurious dark rich colour.
 
Other appointments include PRS Phase III locking machine heads and PRS Gen III patented tremolo. A HSH configuration is installed with a pair of PRS TCI humbucking pickups in the neck and bridge positions and a PRS NS-01 single coil is fitted in the middle position. These are wired to a 5 way pickup selector, Master Volume, Master Tone with push/pull and two Mini-Toggle EQ switches.
 
The Mahogany neck plays fantastically well, with the 'Pattern' profile feeling rather substantial in the hand without being at all cumbersome. The profile might be described as a 'U' shape which encourages ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers whilst providing a smooth and responsive playing experience across the 25" scale. The high gloss finish to the rear assists with fast and fluid navigation, whilst the double cutaway body design with signature PRS sculpted lower horn ensures easy access to the upper register. The Rosewood fingerboard feels luxurious under the fingers, whilst the Abalone Bird inlays remind the player and audience that this is a very special guitar. 
 
The pair of PRS TCI humbucking pickups deliver a wide array of tones, making this instrument a very versatile tool for the discerning guitarist. The neck is warm and buttery, whilst the bridge is brighter, providing plenty of spank and bite for those snappy clean sounds and crunchy riffs. The middle pickup produces an understated yet detailed low end and smooth mids that are perfect for funky sounds. The 5 way switch allows you to pick different groupings of pickups. The push/pull tone control activates both humbuckers when engaged while the mini toggles allow you to split the humbucker coils.
