Here for sale we have a PRS Custom 24 Artist Package Quilted Electric Guitar in Dark Cherry Sunburst finish. The PRS Artist Package series sits between the Core models and the Private Stock models, offering a personalised, premium instrument without the full price of the PRS custom shop. Made in the USA in 2007, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Quilted Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Gold hardware is fitted including a 6-point vintage-style tremolo bridge and PRS sealed locking tuning machines. A pair of PRS passive zebra-coil humbucking pickups are installed, with a PRS Zebra V Bass Humbucker in the neck and a PRS Zebra HFS Humbucker in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way pickup selector and master volume & tone controls (push/pull split coil).
The Mahogany neck plays superbly well, with the 'Wide Thin' profile offering a smooth, responsive and articulate paying experience in all registers. Certainly, the profile is well suited to lead players as it is slim enough for fast melodic lines and solos. The gloss finish to the rear of the neck assists with navigation of the 25" scale, and the double cutaway body design with signature PRS sculpted lower horn enhances access to the upper frets. The Rosewood of the fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, its 10" radius feeling practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques whilst the attractive and unique Abalone inlays add a touch of luxury to the playing experience.
The pair of PRS humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied tones, with plenty of switching options to ensure versatility. The PRS Zebra V Bass Humbucker in the neck position is warm and round, and delivers plenty of power to push those lead lines and solos to the front of the mix. The PRS Zebra HFS Humbucker in the bridge position is brighter, and can handle serious amounts of gain for a saturated rhythm guitar sound on your riffs and power chords. The control layout remains simple, with coil-splitting capabilities offering plenty of scope for shaping your tone.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the headstock are difficult to discern.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. Most notably a small scratch in line with the 9th fret that can be seen regardless of lighting, and a small indentation is present in line with the 11th fret, only visible at certain angles. This cannot be felt by the hand in the playing position. The fingerboard demonstrates light scratching throughout, most notably beneath the A string at the 19th fret, with an indentation to the 6th fret below the high E string. These cannot be felt beneath the string and do not affect the neck feel or playability.
Body: Overall excellent condition. The body demonstrates very light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. Any significant marks are difficult to discern.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Very light scratching is apparent to the bridge and tuners.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
