Here for sale we have a PRS CE24 Ltd Edition electric guitar in Faded Grey Black Blue Burst finish. Made in the USA in 2023, the original CE was introduced in 1988 and offered players PRS design and quality with the added snap and sparkle of traditional bolt-on guitars. This bolt-on construction comprises a Mahogany body topped with a Flamed Maple top, Maple neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Nickel hardware is fitted, including a PRS Patented 6-point vintage-style Tremolo and PRS designed Locking Tuners. A pair of PRS 85/15 TM humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and master tone control with a push/pull coil split. .
The Maple neck plays exceptionally well, with the 'Pattern Thin' profile filling the hand nicely without being at all cumbersome. Certainly, the profile is thick enough to sustain a firm grip when chord playing whilst remaining slim enough for fast articulate melodic lines. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 10" radius is practical for a wide range of styles and techniques. The smooth gloss finish to the rear of the neck assists with navigation of the 25" scale, whilst the double cutaway design with signature PRS chamfered horn ensures unobstructed access to the upper register for soloing.
Amplified, the pair of PRS 85/15 humbucking pickups deliver plenty of grunt and character, with the 3-way switching delivering a wide range of tones appropriate for many genres and playing styles. The bridge position is nice and hot, with a powerful output that can easily drive your amp into a saturated distortion for rock rhythm parts and riffs. The neck is of course rounder, producing a smooth and clear tone for solos and lead lines, as well as a crystalline, glassy clean tone. The addition of a push/pull coil split opens up the possibility of single-coil style sounds, great for thinning down your tone for the verse section of the song.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, the top corners demonstrate light indentation with a small chip to the finish on the bass side rear corner, revealing the wood beneath.
Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates a moderate scratch that pierces the finish on the treble side by the 9th fret running towards the center of the profile. Further scratching and indentation can be identified throughout the register to a lesser degree, most notably chipping the finish slightly behind the 4th fret. The rear of the neck has buffed to a gloss through regular use.
Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates buffing of the finish from satin to gloss in high traffic areas, most notably the treble side of the pickups to the treble side waist, and the bass side lower bout edge. Light scratching can be identified by the controls. The edges demonstrate light indentation, most consistently to the bottom rear edge. The rear edges of the bass side horn demonstrate consistent light to moderate scratching, piercing the finish slightly.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with some flattening of the crowns throughout the register. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
