Here for sale we have a PRS CE 24 electric guitar in Gray Black finish. Made in the USA in 2020, the original CE was introduced in 1988 and offered players PRS design and quality with the added snap and sparkle of traditional bolt-on guitars. This bolt-on construction comprises a Mahogany body topped with a Flamed Maple top, Maple neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Nickel hardware is fitted, including a PRS Patented Tremolo and PRS designed Locking Tuners. A pair of PRS 85/15 humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch with master volume and tone controls.
The Maple neck plays exceptionally well, with the 'Pattern Thin' profile filling the hand nicely without being at all cumbersome. Certainly, the profile is thick enough to sustain a firm grip when chord playing whilst remaining slim enough for fast articulate melodic lines. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 10" radius is practical for a wide range of styles and techniques. The Gloss finish to the rear creates a smooth, addictive feel while the cutaway and signature PRS chamfered horn ensure unobstructed access to the upper register for soloing.
The pair of PRS USA 85/15 pickups installed in this instrument deliver remarkable clarity, perfect for modern tones. A detailed low end is complemented well by a smooth midrange, whilst the high frequencies are bright and shimmering. Further versatility is granted via the push/pull coil split, offering gorgeous sparkling single coil tones. Overall a great workhorse guitar, ideal for a gigging musician in need of a guitar that sounds great in virtually any playing situation.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The top edge of the headstock displays light indentations which can be seen under close scrutiny.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Mild indentations are present to the fingerboard most noticeably to the treble side edge from the 15th to the 17th fret, these can be felt in the playing position. A light indentation is present to the centre of the 20th fret, this can not be felt beneath the string in the playing position. The satin finish to the rear of the neck has lightly polished to an almost gloss appearance, this is common with regular past use on Satin finishes. Light indentations are present to the rear of the neck across the register, These can be felt slightly in the playing position.
Body: Overall very good condition. Moderate indentations are present to the edges of the body, the most apparent of these can be seen to the rear face lower bout edges where the wood has been exposed, to the front face bass side of the waists edge. Further less severe markings are present to the treble side edge of the lower bout, near the strap button. All aspects of the body display light to moderate scratching which can be seen under direct light, this is common with regular use on high gloss finishes.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with mild denting in the early register, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) is included.
Hardware: Fully functional and excellent condition. Very light tarnishing is apparent to the bridge. Scratching and mild wear is present to the treble side of the bridge pickup.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
