PRS Angelus Standard Gloss Natural 2013 Acoustic Guitar
Here for sale we have a PRS SE Angelus Standard in Gloss Natural finish. Made in Korea in 2013 this guitar features a set-neck construction consisting of a Mahogany body with Spruce top, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Rosewood bridge and PRS tuning machines. 
 
The ‘Standard’ shape neck makes fretting easy due to the somewhat slim nut width of 1.68” and medium size profile. The gloss finish to the rear of the neck makes transitioning feel fluid. The single cutaway gives great access to the upper register and Angelus body style feels full, much like that of a grand concert, without being as enormous as a dreadnought.
 
The tone of the Angelus is clear and punchy with sweet lows, an open midrange, along with clear, transparent highs. The Spruce top really helps the guitar to project well, making for an excellent choice of guitar for playing acoustically with plenty of dynamic range and sensitivity.

    Aesthetic Condition:

    Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching is present to the front face of the headstock, these can only be seen under direct light as is common if gloss finishes.

    Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.

    Body: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching is present to all faces of the body with the most apparent being seen to the centre of the rear face. All other aspects of the body display light signs of past use.

     

    Condition of Frets:

    The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability.  There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.


     

    Current Set Up:

    Truss Rod: Fully functional, truss rod tool (7mm socket) included.

    Hardware: Overall excellent condition. Light markings can be seen to the bridge, these can only be seen under close scrutiny.

    Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

     

    Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2mm - Bass 2.5mm

     

    Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height.

     

    Strings on Guitar - 11-52

     

    A shim has been added below the saddle to raise the string height for optimum playability. There is very light material remaining in the saddle for further adjustments to the action.
