Here for sale we have a PJD York Standard in TV Yellow finish. Made in England in 2023, this guitar features a Solid Obeche, a standard C shape Maple neck, a 22-fret Maple fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with Nickel hardware including a Gotoh In Tune bridge and Gotoh Vintage Style tuners. The pickups installed are a pair of PJD High Tea pickups. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and master tone controls.
 
The Standard 'C' profile neck plays exceptionally well in its satin finish, offering a smooth and fluid playing surface, its profile feeling quite moderate; certainly a neck that will suit the vast majority of players. The body contours and rolled neck heel give unobstructed access to the upper register and the frets are nice and high, feeling robust under the fingers.
 
The PJD York Standard comes fitted with two High Tea single coil pickups, with plenty of clarity and warmth in the neck and the classic 'Twang' in the bridge. A detailed low end is complemented well by a smooth midrange, whilst the high frequencies are bright and shimmering. The pickups cut through nicely, putting your playing front and centre in even the densest of mixes. The familiar ‘T Style’ control layout offers comprehensive control of your tone without being intrusive to the playing experience. A truly refined modern take on the classic Telecaster.
