Here for sale we have a Peerless Wizard Standard Hollow-Body Electric Guitar in Sunburst finish. Established in 1970, Peerless Guitars are renowned for their high-quality, affordable archtop and semi-hollow body guitars. Having built for such major brands as Gibson and Epiphone before focusing on their own guitars, Peerless have been well equipped with the right knowledge and tools to create some truly stunning and unique instruments.
Made in South Korea in 2009, this guitar consists of a Flamed Maple top, a Maple body, a Maple neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Tune-o-matic bridge, closed-back die-cast sealed tuners, a Rosewood string-thru tailpiece, and a trio of Peerless P90 pickups. These pickups are wired to three volume controls, and a master tone.
The Maple neck plays very well, with the ‘D’ profile feeling nicely slender and articulate in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers, with a flattened area to the centre which promotes ergonomic thumb positioning. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 15.75" radius it is practical for a wide range of styles and techniques. The familiar lines of the body are as comfortable in the arms as ever, ensuring that long practice sessions and gigs are fatigue free.
The trio of Peerless P90 pickups are warm sounding, yet very articulate, giving you a solid bottom end, driving mids with clear and open sounding high frequencies. The acoustic resonance of the guitar is very pleasing, particularly at lower volumes where it blends with the amplified sound. This would be a great instrument for someone looking for a quality thinline hollow body guitar without spending a fortune.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates light scratching, some of this immediately apparent whilst others visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. The top treble side corner demonstrates a moderate chip to the finish revealing the wood beneath. Scuffing and light indentation can be identified across the top edges of the headstock.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard.
Body: Overall excellent condition, all aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. This is most concentrated around the knob on the treble side cutaway.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with some flattening of the crowns throughout the register. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
