Here for sale we have a Peerless Tonemaster JH Special Hollow Body Electric Guitar in Sunburst finish. Made in Korea, this hollow-body guitar features a set-neck construction consisting of a Maple body with Spruce top, Maple neck and 20 fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include a Bigsby Tremolo and Grover tuning machines. A trio of P90 "Dogear" pickups are fitted and wired to a 3-way pickup selector and independent volume and tone controls.
The Maple neck plays very well, with a profile resembling a Slim 'C' filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast, articulate playing. The Gloss finish to the rear is pleasant to the touch and assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale. The Ebony fingerboard provides a tactile and durable playing surface across the register, and with its 14" radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing styles. The smooth lines of the body feel great in the arms, ensuring comfort in both standing and seated positions.
The hollow construction of this guitar means that it resonates and sustains very well. It produces an airy tone with an unpronounced yet well defined low end, detailed upper midrange and sparkly high frequencies. The trio of P90 "Dogear" pickups sound fantastic, offering a far hotter output than your typical single coil pickup but still retaining a more raw and punchy sound than a Humbucker. These pickups combined with the resonant sound of the hollow Maple body, Spruce top, and Bigsby make this an incredibly versatile instrument, suitable for a wide range of styles and players.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present to the top edge of the headstock, the most apparent of these can be seen to the to treble side tip where the finish has been chipped away lightly exposing the wood beneath. Light scratching is present to all aspects of the headstock, these can be seen under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light lateral scratching can be seen to the fingerboard across the register, these can be seen under direct light and can not be felt in the playing position. Mild indentations are present to the fingerboard to the 5th fret, these can not be felt in the playing position. Light scratching is present to the rear of the neck, these can be seen under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light lacquer cracking is present around the input jack, these have been tested and do not present any structural concerns. A light indentation is present to the front face bass side of the neck joint, this has very lightly pierced the finish but does not expose the wood beneath. Light scratching is present to all aspects of the body, these can be seen under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Mild denting and flattening of the frets is apparent to the early register. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. Light tarnishing of the finish can be seen to the metal hardware. All other aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.75mm - Bass 2mm
