Here for sale we have a Peerless Songbird Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Sunburst finish. Made in Korea, this set-neck guitar consists of a Laminated Maple body, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Tune-o-Matic bridge, Vintage-style tuners, a Trapeze tailpiece, and a set of Dogear P90 pickups. These pickups are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector.
The Songbird was built to pay tribute to the Casino guitars from the ‘60s, feeling equally as comfortable to play on, its neck profile feeling somewhere between a ‘C’ and a ‘D’, flattening out very slightly in the centre. The body is lightweight and is very resonant, giving a very connected feeling while playing. Paired with the trapeze tailpiece this guitar feels lively and responsive while the thinline construction helps keep amp feedback at bay.
The P90 pickups are warm sounding, yet very articulate, giving you a solid bottom end, driving mids with clear and open sounding high frequencies. The acoustic resonance of the guitar is very pleasing, particularly at lower volumes where it blends with the amplified sound. This would be a great instrument for someone looking for a quality thinline hollow body guitar without spending a fortune.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. A light indentation is present to the bass side top edge, this has lightly pierced the finish but does not expose the wood beneath. Light to mild scratching is apparent to all aspects of the headstock with the most noticeable being seen to the rear face near the D tuning machines, all scratchings can be seen under direct light as is common with high gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.

Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Hardware: Overall excellent condition. The scratch plate displays light to mild scratching. All other aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use.
