Here for sale we have a Peavey EVH Wolfgang Special Electric Guitar in Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 2002, this guitar consists of a Basswood body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a Peavey-licensed Floyd Rose tremolo (with D-Tuna), Chrome hardware, a locking nut, and Chrome Enclosed tuners. The pickups installed are a set of Custom-Wound EVH-Designed Humbucking Pickups that is wired to a single master volume control.
The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘C’ profile filling the hand nicely, the Satin Oil-finish provides a smooth and articulate playing experience up and down the neck. The Maple fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 15" compound radius and Jumbo frets assist with string bends and vibrato techniques, delivering a tailored playing experience in any position, whilst offering a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for quick lead lines. The unique body design provides uninhibited access to the upper register, ensuring a razor sharp playing experience in all registers.
The Peavey humbuckers were custom-wound to Edward's specifications, providing the player with thick, warm voicing, with a distinct top-end that is articulate and well-defined. The bridge pickup provides a fat and punchy humbucker-like sound, making power chords sound gritty, whilst also providing soaring lead tones with broad tonal dynamics. However, with subtler amp settings the bridge offers a bright, glassy clean tone making harmonics sing with a bell like tonality. The middle position provides bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. The neck pickup offers a smooth, warm, rounded tone that handles distorted tones as well as it handles clean tones, making solo lines a sumptuous affair.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The rear face of the top edge and tip of the bass side edge demonstrates light indentations that have marked but not removed the finish.
Neck: Overall good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light to mild indentation, most notably in line with the 11th fret. The treble side edge of the fingerboard demonstrates light to mild indentation to the 2nd, 3rd, 9th & 10th frets. These can be felt light by the hand in the playing position. The fingerboard demonstrates light to mild discolouration throughout.
Body: Overall good condition. The front face demonstrates light to mild scratching and indentations. Notably to the bass side shoulder, to the bass side of the bridge and beneath the EVH D-Tuna. Consistent indentations are apparent around the front face edge of the lower bout that have marked but not removed any of the finish. The rear face demonstrates light to mild scratching with consistent indentations around the lower bout edges that have marked but not removed any of the finish.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (spoke wheel) is included.
Hardware: Fully functional and good condition. Notable tarnishing is apparent to the bridge and pole pieces.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
