Here for sale we have a Peavey Rockingham Hollow Body Electric Guitar in Natural Gloss finish. Made in China in circa. 2002, this guitar consists of a Maple body with a Laminated Spruce top, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a Chrome Bigsby B60 Vibrato tailpiece, T-O-M style bridge and sealed tuning machines. A pair of Retro-Style Peavey Humbuckers are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls.
The Maple neck plays very well, with a profile resembling a ‘D’ filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast, articulate playing. The Gloss finish to the rear is pleasant to the touch and assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a tactile and durable playing surface across the register, and with its 12" radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing styles. The smooth lines of the body feel great in the arms, ensuring comfort in both standing and seated positions.
Amplified, the hollow-body construction of this guitar helps to deliver an open and airy tone as you would expect from a hollow body. The pair of Retro-Style Peavey humbucking pickups provide a thick and full-bodied tone, well suited to a wide range of genres yet retaining their own unique voice. The neck pickup is round and warm, delivering a smooth tone with plenty of power for pushing your solos and melody lines to the front of the mix. The bridge pickup is of course brighter, and with a higher output can handle a surprising amount of gain for a seriously rockin' tone.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face of the headstock displays light to mild scratching which is visible under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.
Body: Overall very good condition. A light indentation is present to the front face at the bass side of the pickups. This has lightly pierced the lacquer finish but does not expose the wood beneath. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can be seen under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall excellent condition. Light tarnishing is present to the Bigsby tailpiece.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
